Maverick Marshal

From 1959, L. Miller & Son published six issues of Maverick Marshal, a Western comic that paired the lawman Mark Stone with his horse, Maverick Marshal. The series was most frequently written by Joe Gill and illustrated by the team of Charles Nicholas and Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio, delivering a compact but consistent run of frontier adventure. While brief, it stands as a tidy example of the low-budget, high-volume comic publishing that defined the era.
