Maxi Tex

A long-running Italian western series from Sergio Bonelli Editore, Maxi Tex launched in 1991 and has since delivered 37 oversized issues of frontier adventure. The series is most closely associated with writers Antonio Segura, Tito Faraci, and Claudio Nizzi, alongside artists José Ortiz, Roberto Diso, and Miguel A. Repetto, who together built a distinctive, gritty vision of the Old West. Its significance lies in providing a larger-format showcase for the iconic Tex Willer mythos, allowing for more expansive storytelling and detailed art than the monthly comic.
