Charlton Comics’ Midnight Tales (1972–1976) was a moody horror anthology that ran for 18 issues, offering a mix of eerie short stories and supernatural chills. Most frequently written by Nicola Cuti and Wayne Howard, with Howard also serving as the series’ primary artist alongside Tom Sutton and Don Newton, the title showcased a rotating cast of grim, atmospheric tales.
