Mighty Heroes Annual

In the mid-1980s, Opal Quill Ltd. released two oversized Mighty Heroes Annuals, standalone companion volumes to their main superhero line. These 1984 and 1985 editions offered expanded, self-contained adventures featuring the publisher's stable of characters, with a focus on epic-scale storytelling and high-quality art. While a brief run, the annuals exemplified the era's trend of prestige-format specials, providing a showcase for the publisher's top talent to deliver more ambitious tales than the monthly titles allowed.
