Mister-X

In the late 1960s, Italian publisher Edizioni Alhambra introduced Mister-X, a nine-issue comic series that brought a distinctive, shadowy hero to the newsstands. The series is most closely associated with the art of Primo Marcarini, whose moody, expressive style defined the character's look and world. Though brief, Mister-X stands as a notable example of the Italian adventure comics of its era, offering a European take on the costumed vigilante archetype.
