The Spanish superhero Mytek "El Poderoso" debuted in 1965 from Ediciones Vértice, running for 17 issues. Most frequently drawn by artist Antonio Borrell, the series introduced a powerful, caped hero to Spanish readers during the golden age of European comic imports. Its significance lies in being one of the few homegrown Spanish superheroes of the era, standing alongside translated American imports.
