In the late 1970s, the Italian publisher Edifumetto unleashed Naga, a dark fantasy comic that ran for 18 issues. The series was defined by its lush, painted covers by Alessandro Biffignandi and the sinuous, gothic interiors of Leone Frollo, blending erotic horror with sword-and-sorcery.
