About the series
In the wake of the Decimation, Marvel's second-string mutant team gets a second chance when the original New Mutants reunites in San Francisco. This 50-issue run, primarily written by Zeb Wells and later Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning, re-centers on Sunspot, Magma, Warlock, and Cypher as they navigate a world where mutantkind is on the brink of extinction.
