New X-Men: Academy X
Marvel · 2004–2005 · 3 issues
About the series
A short-lived but fondly remembered Marvel spin-off, New X-Men: Academy X (2004–2005) ran for only three issues, written by the team of Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir with art by Paco Medina. This series served as a launching point for the next generation of mutant students at the Xavier Institute, focusing on the personal dramas and developing powers of young heroes-in-training. Though brief, it helped establish the tone and characters that would carry into the longer-running New X-Men series that followed.
