Night Thrasher

In the early 1990s, Marvel launched a solo series for the skateboarding, armor-clad vigilante Night Thrasher, a key member of the New Warriors. Written primarily by Fabian Nicieza and drawn by artists like David Boller and Javier Saltares, the 21-issue run explored the character's gritty origin and his war on crime in New York's underworld. This series deepened the street-level side of the Marvel Universe, giving a darker, more personal focus to a hero who had previously only been part of a team.
