Ninja High School

A short-lived but fondly remembered series from Antarctic Press, Ninja High School (1987–1988) blended martial-arts action with teen comedy, following a young protagonist caught between ninja clans and everyday high school life. Writer/artist Ben Dunn, alongside co-writer James Hanrahan, defined the series' energetic, manga-influenced style during the early days of the American "manga boom." Though it ran for only four issues, it became a cult touchstone for its fusion of genres and helped establish Antarctic Press as a hub for creator-owned, anime-inspired comics.
