Nuggets

Published by Henderson in 1905 and running for 34 issues through 1906, Nuggets was a short-lived comic series from the early days of the medium. While its creators are not widely documented, the strip captures the whimsical, often satirical tone of turn-of-the-century newspaper-style humor. Its brief run offers a snapshot of the evolving comic form just before the rise of the Sunday funnies.
