Official True Crime Cases Comics

Mike Sekowsky illustrated both issues of this short-lived Marvel series from the late 1940s, which adapted real-life criminal cases into comic book form. Running only two issues in 1947–1948, it offered a gritty, pre-Code look at true crime storytelling before the genre would later be shaped by the Comics Code Authority. Though brief, the series stands as an early example of Marvel's foray into non-superhero, fact-based narratives.
