Orgies barbares

From 2013 onward, French publisher Éditions de l'éveil has released Orgies barbares, a series of eight issues blending raw, fantastical storytelling with visceral artwork. Primarily written by Erich Hartmann and Master Tabou, with Hartmann also serving as the series' most frequent artist, this comic explores themes of primal violence and dark mythology. Its unflinching, often grotesque aesthetic and commitment to adult-oriented, boundary-pushing content have made it a notable entry in the European independent comics scene.
