楳図かずお’s Orochi is a haunting nine-issue horror anthology from 1969–1971, published by Akita Shoten, that follows a mysterious, ageless young woman who drifts through post-war Japan, witnessing and sometimes catalyzing the tragic fates of those she encounters. Written and illustrated entirely by the legendary manga master, the series weaves psychological dread with supernatural dread, each self-contained story exploring themes of obsession, decay, and the monstrous lurking within ordinary life.
