From 1950 onward, New Century Press's Outer Space offered a four-issue glimpse into the cosmic frontier, blending speculative science and adventure in the early days of the atomic age. Though brief, the series captured the era's fascination with rockets and alien worlds, with its most notable talent being writer-artist Joe Kubert, whose dynamic, gritty style lent a raw energy to the stars. As one of the first comics to treat space exploration with a sense of wonder and danger, it remains a foundational, if short-lived, milestone in the genre.
