Pampa

In the mid-1950s, French publisher Editions Lug launched Pampa, a 32-issue comic series that brought the rugged adventures of the Argentine pampas to European readers. Most frequently illustrated by the prolific Roy D'Amy, the series blended Western tropes with South American flavor, offering a distinctive take on frontier storytelling during the postwar boom in European comics.
