Pampa

Set in the lawless Argentine frontier, Pampa was a short-lived but vivid Italian western series published by Editions Lug across eight issues in 1965–1966. Written primarily by Ennio Missaglia and illustrated by Enzo Magni, it brought a European sensibility to the genre, blending dusty adventure with the stark, romanticized violence of the spaghetti western era. Though brief, the series stands as a distinctive example of Italy's mid-60s comics boom, where homegrown talent reimagined American archetypes for a European audience.
