Panthère Blonde

A short-lived but stylish French crime-noir series, Panthère Blonde ran for twelve issues from 1948 to 1949 under the Sage - Sagédition imprint. The strip is most associated with its creator, artist and writer Marcel Navarro, who brought a sharp, cinematic sensibility to the adventures of its titular blonde heroine. Though its run was brief, the series stands as an early, bold example of postwar European comics blending pulp thrills with a distinctly continental flair.
