Papercutter

From 2006 to 2011, Papercutter was an anthology series that showcased a rotating cast of indie cartoonists across sixteen issues, published first by Tugboat Press, then Teenage Dinosaur, and finally Sparkplug Comic Books. The series is most closely associated with creators Becca Taylor, Jonathan Hill, and Kazimir Strzepek, who each contributed writing and art throughout its run. It stands as a thoughtfully curated snapshot of the alt-comics scene of its era, offering a platform for emerging and established voices in short-form storytelling.
