In the early 1990s, Raj Comics introduced Parmanu, a short-lived series of seven issues that blended Indian mythology with science fiction. The title character, a powerful being born from a nuclear explosion, fought threats both ancient and modern across a uniquely Indian superhero landscape. Though its run was brief, the series remains a cult favorite for its bold, experimental take on the atomic age and its place in the golden era of Hindi-language comics.
