Paul Foran

A short-lived but visually striking series from Dupuis, Paul Foran (1976–1979) is a Spanish-influenced adventure comic written by Miguel Cussó and Gil, with art by Jordi Bernet and Montero. Over just four issues, it follows the globe-trotting exploits of its rugged titular hero, blending action and intrigue in the classic European bande dessinée tradition. The series is notable for Bernet's dynamic, expressive artwork, which would later define his celebrated work on Torpedo. Though brief, Paul Foran stands as a crisp, energetic example of mid-70s Franco-Belgian adventure storytelling.
