About the series
From 2004 to 2009, Egmont published six issues of Pettson & Findus julalbum, a Swedish comic series bringing the beloved characters from Sven Nordqvist’s picture books into a festive annual format. Most frequently written by Susanne Adolfsson and illustrated by Alan Kamieniarczyk, each Christmas-themed album offered new, standalone adventures for the old farmer and his mischievous cat. While Nordqvist’s original stories established the duo, this series expanded their world in a cheerful, holiday-appropriate setting for young readers.
