About the series
A revival of the classic French comic series, Les Pieds Nickelés returned in the late 1920s through the Société Parisienne d'Edition for a 19-issue run that lasted into 1940. Louis Forton, the original creator, remained a key contributor alongside writer and artist Aristide Perré, with A. G. Badert also handling art duties. This interwar continuation kept the mischievous trio of Croquignol, Filochard, and Ribouldingue in the public eye, preserving the series' legacy as a cornerstone of French humor comics.
