Piloot Storm

In the late 1950s, the Dutch publisher De Vlijt launched Piloot Storm, a short-lived but fondly remembered comic series that ran for six issues from 1956 onward. Primarily illustrated by Henk Sprenger, the series follows the airborne adventures of its titular pilot, capturing the optimistic, post-war spirit of European adventure comics. While brief in its original run, Piloot Storm remains a notable piece of Dutch comics history, showcasing Sprenger’s dynamic artwork and the era’s fascination with aviation heroes.
