About the series
In the mid-1980s, the Italian publisher Bonelli joined forces with the French house Dargaud for Pilot, a short-lived but ambitious series of 15 comic albums that brought together some of Europe's most admired creators. Writers Ferruccio Giromini, Pierre Christin, and Laurence Harlé, alongside artists including Jean-Claude Mézières, Jean-Claude Floc'h, and Michel Blanc-Dumont, contributed to this cross-cultural anthology. Though it lasted only two years, Pilot stands as a notable example of the creative synergy between two major European comic traditions.
