Pionér presenterer is a Norwegian anthology series from Hjemmet / Egmont, launched in 2019 and still ongoing, that curates classic Italian adventure comics for a new audience. The series primarily showcases the work of writers like Merete Markeng Skar, Gianfranco Manfredi, and Gian Luigi Bonelli, paired with the bold, dynamic art of Gallieno Ferri, Giuseppe Baiguera, and Pasquale Frisenda. With eight issues to date, it serves as a vital bridge between generations, reintroducing the sweeping, pulp-inspired storytelling of European masters to modern readers.
