From 1950 to 1953, Planet Comics was a short-lived but visually striking science-fiction anthology from H. John Edwards, running 24 issues. The series is best remembered for its vibrant, imaginative covers by Maurice Whitman and the interior artwork of Joe Doolin, who together defined the futuristic, adventure-driven tone of the book.
