Pompeia

Set in the ancient world, Pompeia was a short-lived Portuguese comic series from 1977 to 1978, running for seven issues under the Portugal Press banner. Most consistently illustrated by artist Carlos Alberto, the series offered a dramatic, historical narrative centered on the doomed Roman city. Though brief in its run, it remains a notable entry in Portuguese comics for its ambitious period setting and the consistent visual style of its primary artist.
