Poncho Libertas

From 1977 to 1979, Glénat published this three-issue French comic series written by Marijac and illustrated by Le Rallic. The title character, Poncho Libertas, is a swashbuckling adventurer whose exploits blend historical fiction with light-hearted action. Though brief, the series showcases the veteran talents of its creators, both beloved figures in the Franco-Belgian comic tradition, and stands as a late-career collaboration between two masters of the medium.
