Purple Warp

From 1972 to 1973, Al Greenier published Purple Warp, a 16-issue comic series written and drawn by Tom Hosier. A singular vision from a single creator, the series is best remembered as a trippy, low-budget showcase for Hosier's idiosyncratic storytelling and psychedelic artwork. Its brief run captures a unique moment in underground comics, where personal expression outweighed commercial polish.
