About the series
From 2021 to 2022, Bad Idea published this four-issue miniseries by writer Peter Milligan and artist Adam Pollina, a swashbuckling supernatural revenge story set in an alternate 18th century. It follows the title character, a wronged woman turned fearsome pirate captain, as she hunts the corrupt British noble who destroyed her life. Milligan and Pollina craft a vivid, brutal world of high-seas adventure and dark magic, making it a distinctive, short-lived gem from the indie imprint.
