About the series
In the early 1990s, TSR—best known for Dungeons & Dragons—ventured into grim, mature-readers horror with R.I.P. Comics Module, an eight-issue series. Written primarily by Doug Moench, Marv Wolfman, and Nat Gertler, with art by Rantz Hoseley, Ted Boonthanakit, and Jeff Newman, the series wove standalone tales of the supernatural and the macabre. It stands as an intriguing, short-lived experiment in creator-driven horror from a tabletop gaming publisher, offering a unique blend of pulp dread and early-90s comic sensibility.
