Recueil Corail

A short-lived but fondly remembered French publishing experiment, Recueil Corail ran for just two issues in 1977 under the Arédit-Artima banner. The series is most closely associated with the vivid, expressive artwork of Rafael Cortiella, whose style defined its brief visual identity. Though it barely got started, it remains a curious footnote for collectors of French comics, a small, colorful gem from the late '70s that hinted at what might have been.
