Milena Simeonova’s Relationshapes (2018–present) is a spare, introspective comic that translates the emotional geometry of human connection into minimalist visual language. Published as a single issue, it uses abstract shapes and subtle color shifts to chart the push-and-pull of intimacy, silence, and distance between two figures. Simeonova, acting as both writer and artist, strips storytelling to its essential lines, making the series a quiet, resonant study in how we fit together and apart.
