Rescue Comics

Rescue Comics (1990–1992) was a short-lived, two-issue series from Pigeon Press, a small publisher known for offbeat, creator-driven work. The series is remembered primarily for featuring the first published comic work of writer/artist Mike Mignola, whose distinctive, shadowy style is already evident here. Though brief, the title offers an early glimpse of the talent that would later define Hellboy.
