Resurrection Man

In this short-lived 2011–2012 DC series, writer Dan Abnett and artist Fernando Dagnino resurrected the supernatural antihero Mitch Shelley, a man who dies and returns with a new superpower each time. Teaming with frequent collaborators Andy Lanning and Eddie Berganza, the creative team explored a shadowy corner of the DC Universe where Shelley’s resurrection abilities made him a target for both mystical and corporate forces. Though brief, this run stands as a thoughtful, action-packed revival of a cult-favorite character, showcasing the talents of artists Jesús Saiz and Ramón Bachs in crafting a gritty, modern take on the concept.
