In 1964, the Lebanese publisher Bissat al-Rih (Flying Carpet) launched Rin Tin Tin, a comic series that ran for 14 issues, bringing the heroic German Shepherd of film and television fame to the Middle East. This locally produced iteration adapted the beloved canine's adventures for a new audience, blending action and loyalty in a format that reflected the region's growing appetite for translated and localized comics.
