Sånt är livet

In the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s, Swedish publisher Carlsen/if released four issues of Sånt är livet, a translated comic series featuring the sharp, satirical work of French artist Gérard Lauzier. The series offers a wry, adult look at modern life and social mores, capturing Lauzier's signature blend of cynical humor and elegant linework. Though brief, this collection brought Lauzier's distinctive European comic sensibility to a Scandinavian audience.
