Série 4

Série 4 is a late-19th-century French comic series published by Maison Quantin, running for 20 issues from 1887 onward. The series is most closely associated with the artists Théophile Alexandre Steinlen, Victor A. Poirson, and Hermann Vogel, who contributed as both writers and illustrators. As an early example of serialized French comics, it captures a transitional moment in the medium's history, blending illustration and narrative in a period when the form was still taking shape.
