Åsa-Nisse [julalbum]

Since 1997, the Swedish publisher Bokförlaget Semic (later Egmont) has issued a yearly Åsa-Nisse Christmas album, a holiday tradition that has now run for 29 issues. These seasonal comics are most frequently written by Leif Bergendorff and illustrated by Gösta Gummesson and Thomas Norberg, keeping the classic rural misadventures of Åsa-Nisse, his wife Kristin, and the oddball residents of Knohult—including the scheming Greven and the hapless Klabbarparn—alive for new generations.
