Sandokan

A swashbuckling German comic series from Bastei Verlag, Sandokan (1979–1980) adapts the adventures of the legendary "Tiger of Malaysia," the pirate prince fighting colonial oppression in the 19th-century South China Sea. Over its 30-issue run, the series blends exotic locales, naval battles, and jungle intrigue, drawing from Emilio Salgari’s classic adventure novels.
