About the series
A ten-issue Italian horror anthology series from Editoriale Corno, Satanik Special (1965–1969) spun off from the popular Satanik magazine, offering a mix of macabre tales and supernatural suspense. While the series drew on the talents of the broader Corno stable, its most associated creator was writer/artist Magnus, whose distinctive, moody artwork defined the book's grim atmosphere. As a showcase for the publisher's dark-fantasy output during the mid-1960s, it stands as a key example of the Italian fumetti horror boom.
