Yen Press’s School-Live! (2015–2020) is a 12-issue manga series that subverts the classic school-life genre, following a group of high school girls who maintain a cheerful daily routine while surviving a zombie apocalypse. Illustrated primarily by Sadoru Chiba, the story balances moments of slice-of-life warmth with the tense horror of a world gone wrong, all through the eyes of its resilient protagonist.
