Scooby Doo Stripalbum

The short-lived Scooby Doo Stripalbum ran for just two issues in 1979–1980 from Dutch publisher De Vrijbuiter, collecting newspaper comic strips from the late 1970s. Writer Mark Evanier was the primary talent associated with the series, adapting the Mystery Inc. gang’s classic meddling-kids-and-a-great-dane formula into a serialized, all-ages format. Though brief, it stands as a curious European artifact of the franchise’s global reach during the Hanna-Barbera era.
