Seriealbum

From 2004 to 2006, the Norwegian publisher Seriehuset AS released Seriealbum, a nine-issue comic anthology series that served as a showcase for local talent. The series was most notably shaped by writers Ivan Emberland, Øyvind Sveen, and Carl Aabø, alongside artists Tomte, Emberland, and Sveen, whose collaborative work defined its eclectic, creator-driven spirit. A vital snapshot of mid-2000s Norwegian comics, Seriealbum offered a platform for emerging voices and helped document a fertile period in the country’s small-press scene.
