In the early 1990s, Norwegian publisher Piraya Publishing launched Sex og rør [Stupido spesial], an eight-issue comic series that blended absurd humor with underground sensibilities. Running from 1993 to 1995, the title—a playful pun on "sex and pipes"—showcased the distinctive, often surreal work of local cartoonists, standing as a cult artifact of the era's alternative Nordic comics scene. Its brief but memorable run captured a moment when small presses pushed boundaries with irreverent, adult-oriented material.
