Markku Virta’s Sexus is a singular, ongoing black-and-white comic from Fantagraphics that began in 2001. Written and drawn entirely by Virta, the series explores a surreal, often grotesque world of abstract figures and stark landscapes, blending existential dread with a raw, minimalist line.
