About the series
A 12-issue DC anthology series from 1994, Showcase '94 revived the classic try-out format to spotlight new directions for established characters. Most frequently written by Alan Grant, Chuck Dixon, and Brian Augustyn, with art from Tim Sale, Phil Jimenez, and Patrick Rolo, it notably explored darker, grittier arcs for Jean-Paul Valley and introduced the Huntress (Helena Bertinelli) in a solo feature. The series also introduced the supporting characters Daniel and Mandy DePaolo, weaving them into the larger Gotham mythos.
