Simon du Fleuve

Claude Auclair’s Simon du Fleuve is a poetic, post-apocalyptic adventure series published by Le Lombard from 1976 to 1989, spanning nine issues. Co-written with Alain Riondet and illustrated by Auclair, it follows a lone wanderer navigating a haunting, flooded world reclaimed by nature, blending ecological themes with a meditative, humanist tone. Its stark, lyrical art and quiet storytelling made it a distinctive cult work in European comics.
